Director of Education
Christopher Smith
Christopher Smith has dedicated the past 17 years to education and school leadership across the greater Monadnock region. He holds a B.A. in English and Philosophy from Rutgers University and an M.A. in English Literature and Writing from Hofstra University. A licensed educator in New Hampshire, Chris has served as a principal at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, and has taught at the collegiate level at Franklin Pierce University and River Valley Community College. Before co-founding Granite Valley Prep, he brought his experience and vision to a range of educational settings, always with a focus on student success and community engagement.

Dean of Student Success
Liberty Ebright
Liberty Ebright brings over 20 years of experience in education and youth advocacy to her role as Dean of Student Success. She holds a BA in Sociology from Gonzaga University and an MSW from the University of Washington. A licensed school counselor in New Hampshire, Liberty is passionate about supporting students’ personal and academic growth.

Math
Kristin Blais
Kristin Blais has been teaching for more than ten years and finds time in the classroom to be endlessly challenging, gratifying, and fun. She has a B.A. from Brown University and a master’s in teaching from the Upper Valley Graduate School of Education. Kristin’s master’s work explored the critical nature of emotion and relationships in the learning process. She believes that when adults and students build connections based on warmth, curiosity, shared responsibility and high degrees of trust – amazing outcomes are possible.

Art
Molly Fletcher
Molly Fletcher has spent the past 15 years inspiring creativity as a Visual Arts educator in Keene. After earning her MFA in Painting from the University of Delaware in 2010, she returned to her alma mater, Keene State College, where she has since taught courses in drawing, painting, and design. In the classroom, she champions the idea that art is not an inborn gift, but a skill honed through dedication, time, and effort. With a healthy dose of humor and high expectations, she encourages her students to claim their artistic practice as their own.

Science/Math
Abbey Hoye
A Keene native and graduate of Keene State College with a B.S. in Chemistry, Abbey brings a passion for teaching and a love of learning to our science department. Abbey is known for making science engaging, accessible, and just a little bit magical for her students.

French/Culinary/Literature
Avril Miller
Avril has always believed that learning should be an experience—one that sparks curiosity, invites creativity, and connects students to the world around them. Whether it is conjugating verbs, experimenting with new recipes, or diving into a great book, her goal is to make every class engaging, fun, and meaningful. Avril graduated from Keene State College with a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics. She has taken many cooking classes and has cultivated a vast, self-taught education in the culinary world, which fuels her passion for teaching Culinary Arts and inspiring students in the kitchen.

Technology
Danielle Moylan
Danielle Moylan joins the GVP community with 15 years of teaching experience and a reputation for bringing positivity, energy, and genuine care into every classroom she leads. A graduate of Keene State College with a B.A. in Graphic Design, Mrs. Moylan blends creativity with a strong commitment to student connection and engagement.

English/Social Studies
Jon Perry
Jon graduated from Keene High in the late 1980s, and after graduating from Dartmouth College, Jon has spent the past 33 years teaching English and American Studies at Keene High. He has coached basketball at Keene High at various levels for about 20 years, has coached at the Keene State Basketball Camps for around 30 years, and has also been teaching in Keene Community Education's Alternative Diploma program for around 25 years.
Jon says he loves that his profession is really about making connections- with other people, with the subject matter, with great works of literature/art/music/film, with "real life," with the past, and with the community.

Music/Film
Christian Raabe
Christian Raabe has been teaching high school and privately in the Keene area for five years. He has been a lifelong musician and holds a Bachelor's degree in Music from Keene State College. Christian currently plays live music in the area and has been a part of many performing groups over the years including orchestras, jazz combos and rock bands.
